1. The Rise of Crystal Popularity

It is no secret that some of Hollywood's best-loved names have turned the spotlight on crystals and the traditions surrounding them. Once a niche interest of the New Age movement, crystals now show up everywhere: on bedside tables, backstage at fashion shows, in beauty launches and in carefully styled homes. For many people they are simply beautiful objects and small personal reminders, a way to pause and set an intention for the day.

So which stars have actually talked about their crystals? Below we have gathered seven celebrities who have spoken about them in interviews or on their own channels. We have retold each story in our own words and linked to the original article, so you can read what was said for yourself. The meanings of the stones mentioned here come from crystal tradition and from the celebrities' own words; they are beliefs, not proven effects.

2. Celebrities and Their Favorite Crystals

2.1. Kim Kardashian – Rose Quartz and Citrine

Kim Kardashian has said she was not really "into" crystals at first. After the 2016 robbery in Paris, friends kept bringing her crystals as gifts, and she slowly became curious about them and started looking into what the different stones are said to mean. "I love the shape, I loved holding it," she told Entertainment Tonight. That fascination became the starting point for her first KKW fragrances, Crystal Gardenia, which launched in 2017 in crystal-shaped bottles. She mentioned rose quartz and citrine in particular, stones that crystal tradition links with love and happiness.

2.2. Victoria Beckham – Black Tourmaline Backstage

Fashion designer and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has described herself as quite superstitious. Speaking at an art college in Singapore in 2018, she revealed that she keeps pink quartz and black tourmaline backstage at her fashion shows, and said her interest in crystals grew during her time in Los Angeles. "I carry my crystals with me," she admitted, adding that some people might find that odd. She even brought the idea into her designs: her Pre-Fall 2018 collection featured clips for crystals on belt loops and hidden crystal pockets in wide-leg trousers.

2.3. Jennifer Aniston – Crystals at Home and in Memory

For Jennifer Aniston, crystals carry a very personal meaning. In a 2023 interview with The Wall Street Journal, she recalled placing a meaningful crystal in her late father John Aniston's jacket at his funeral. Only later did she realize the crystal had broken: a piece of it was still on her vanity at home. Crystals are also part of her home itself. When she showed Vanity Fair around her Los Angeles house in 2025, she pointed out raw amethyst and a white crystal for clarity, and explained that she wanted her home to feel like a calm place away from the chaos of the outside world.

2.4. Huda Kattan – Rose Quartz as Beauty Inspiration

Beauty entrepreneur Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, is a self-confessed rose quartz fan. In 2021 she turned her favorite stone into a whole makeup collection, including an 18-shade Rose Quartz eyeshadow palette. Introducing the launch on her brand's blog, she called rose quartz "a stone that represents unconditional love" and wrote that keeping it close had become part of her own self-love journey. Grazia Middle East also described the light pink crystal as one of her favorites.

2.5. Miranda Kerr – Rose Quartz Close to Her Heart

Model Miranda Kerr has talked about rose quartz for years. In an interview with The Cut, she called it "my all-time favourite crystal" and revealed that she carries a tiny heart-shaped piece tucked into her bra, close to her heart, with more pieces in her handbag. For her, the stone works as a small reminder to act from love rather than from fear.

2.6. Kate Hudson – Skincare on Crystals

Actress Kate Hudson gave her followers a peek into a rather mystical beauty habit. On Instagram she shared photos of crystals in the sunlight and of her moisturizer resting on top of them, with the advice: "don't underestimate putting your creams on crystals." She admitted it might seem a little crazy, but for her it is simply part of her own beauty ritual.

3. The Enduring Allure of Crystals

The fascination with crystals is more than a passing celebrity trend. For many people, a crystal is a personal talisman: something beautiful to hold, a reminder of a person or a moment, or a small cue to slow down. Celebrities have helped bring crystals into the mainstream, but their appeal reaches far beyond Hollywood, linking old traditions with modern self-care rituals.
